36-year-old pianist and singer Jamie Cullum, from Britain, is a top-notch showman. He’s renowned for jazz with a hint of pop and rock. He’s been a regular at the Festival since 2004, the year of his consecration with the album Twentysomething. Jamie Cullum represents a generation of musicians who aren’t scared to mix styles, taking audacious turns onto paths less-trodden. Although he grew up surrounded by classical music, he chose jazz – he believes that it is the only genre of music that allows you to go wherever you want and to take in all the other genres. His most recent album, Interlude, is a collection of jazz standards featuring Laura Mvula and Gregory Porter.

The Tbilisi Jazz Festival is getting ready to welcome this young, modern-day crooner who’s overflowing with energy and talent.
